At Joseph Fleischer, we love helping the community around us. So when we got the opportunity to work with Camp Simcha’s Tour de Simcha benefitting the Chai Lifeline charity, we jumped at the chance. For a quick background, Chai Lifeline is a nonprofit organization that assists families living with pediatric illness or loss. Their programs include financial assistance, as well as psychological, emotional, and social help.

Each year, Camp Simcha – a summer camp that gives children with cancer the opportunity to attend and enjoy summer camp activities – hosts the Tour de Simcha (an all-female cycling team race) to raise funds and awareness for Chai Lifeline. And this year, we were honored to be able to sponsor the event that takes place in Northern New Jersey.

The Tour de Simcha team is made up of a group of young female cyclists who navigate a 72 mile route through upstate New York. Attendees get to watch along the route and participate in the opening Gala party, as well as additional events. We’re excited to say that this year’s event, which happened last week, raised over $540,000! Great job, ladies!
