Inspiration is wherever you look, but if there’s one place you can always find a ton of inspiration in one place, it’s the Internet. From Pinterest to Facebook to doing a quick Google image search, there’s no shortage of people doing cool things, snapping a photo, and uploading it to the web.
Recently, we’ve been obsessed with finding new hair styles, colors, and ideas on Instagram – the social networking platform that showcases nothing but images uploaded by people all over the world. We did a quick search for our favorite hair related accounts, and these four are our favorite sources of Instagram inspiration.
1. TokyoStylez – TokyoStylez is a young hair stylist and enthusiast from Arlington, VA. He creates over-the-top wigs for a host of celebrity clientele – many of whom are musicians and artists. Clients include Kylie Jenner, who got a baby blue wig created for her 18th birthday.
2. Instabraid – It doesn’t get more braid-savvy than this. Two sisters started the account, and they post simple – and sometimes amazing complex – hair braids that they try out on each other. It’s perfect for back-to-school hair inspiration.
3. SarahPotempa – Sarah Potempa is a celebrity hairstylist affiliated with Aussie hair products. She snaps quick photos of her clients’ hair, as well as fun shots of interesting ‘do’s she’s created from simple braids to crazy up ‘dos.
4. englishhair – For major hair color inspiration, turn to englishhair – the Instagram account run by Australian stylist Stevie English. Expect to find bright and unusual hair color combinations that are striking and fashionable.
