We focus a lot on female hair trends, from popular color options to seasonal styles. But, what we don’t cover as much are hair trends for men. To make up for that, here are three of our favorite current male hair trends.
1. Long Square Layers
If you’re bold enough to go for shoulder-length hair, go for the long layers look. Ask your stylist for square layers that hit the jaw line, and use a styling cream to keep strands tousled without looking unkempt.
2. Long on Top; Short on the Sides
If you want to keep a classic look, but still want to keep a bit of edge, choose a look that features a bit of length on top, with hair cut very short on the sides. Wear it parted on the side and swept over the head for a look that’s both classic and cool.
3. The Tight Fade
If minimal upkeep is your thing, go for a tight fade, similar to a military cut. In order to pull it off well, balance it out with a little bit of scruff or a solid five o’clock shadow. Just make sure you perform steady upkeep, since too much scruff won’t work well with this haircut.
